Baseball Recap: Antelope Triumphs

Antelope's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Kennedy Cougars. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Nick Ehrman made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. Ehrman was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Adrian Martinez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and three doubles. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Coates, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and one double.

Antelope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedy only posted an OBP of .235.

Antelope's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Kennedy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Antelope will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
