Baseball Recap: Woodridge Comes Up Short

Woodridge lost against Cloverleaf back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Colts, falling 10-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josh Rush made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Noah Lancy was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Woodridge now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Cloverleaf, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

While Woodridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
