Recap: State College Little Lions vs. Mifflin County Huskies
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McDowell, the State College Little Lions were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against Mifflin County by a score of 51-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as State College also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.
State College's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luke Torbic led the charge by scoring 16 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Reed Melvin, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
State College's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Mifflin County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
State College does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mifflin County also has no future games currently scheduled.
