Baseball Recap: La Pine Takes a Loss

La Pine lost against Sisters back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks fell 6-3 to the Outlaws. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

La Pine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Newton, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double was Newton's first of the season.

La Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sisters, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. La Pine is set to face off against their familiar foe Elmira at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sisters will challenge rival Harrisburg at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
