Concord Christian's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

Recap: Concord Christian Lions vs. Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors
The Concord Christian Lions were the 51-48 winner over the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Concord Christian fell just short of Christian Academy of Knoxville by a score of 45-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Concord Christian has scored all season.
Bennett Simerlein was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with five rebounds for Christian Academy of Knoxville. That makes it three consecutive games in which Simerlein has scored at least 25% of Christian Academy of Knoxville's points.
Concord Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
Concord Christian will head out on the road to face off against Clayton-Bradley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against First Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m.
