While Carlsbad put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for El Camino. The Carlsbad Lancers came out on top in a nail-biter against the El Camino Wildcats, sneaking past 1-0. The one-run effort marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Ian Fisher tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024.
