Soccer Recap: Redwood Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Redwood was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of the Golden West Trailblazers by a score of 2-1. The Rangers have struggled against the Trailblazers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Redwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-9. As for Golden West, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redwood will venture away from home to take on El Diamante at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Diamante will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Redwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Golden West, they will head out to square off against Monache at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Golden West is facing Monache at the right time seeing as Monache is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
