Bellevue is 8-2 against Margaretta since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bellevue Redmen are taking a road trip to challenge the Margaretta Polar Bears at 7:15 p.m. Bellevue is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Bellevue is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Perkins 77-33 on Friday. The Redmen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Margaretta waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 31-23. Given the Polar Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Tigers are ranked 353rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bellevue pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Margaretta, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Bellevue didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Margaretta when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellevue since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
