Volleyball Recap: Daphne Trojans vs. Gulf Breeze Dolphins
Daphne is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Gulf Breeze. The Daphne Trojans lost 3-0 to the Gulf Breeze Dolphins. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-12.
Despite the loss, Daphne still got an impressive performance from Isabella Charlton, who had 13 digs and three aces.
Gulf Breeze's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sarah Frazee, who had 20 digs and four aces. The dominant performance gave Frazee a new career-high in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Hepworth, who had six digs and three aces.
