Wenatchee's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sunnyside Grizzlies, sneaking past 5-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wenatchee's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-5. As for Sunnyside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Wenatchee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Grizzlies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
