Football Recap: Friendship Collegiate Academy Skates Past Simon Gratz with Ease

While Friendship Collegiate Academy put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Simon Gratz. The Knights really took it to the Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked third in District of Columbia, while the Bulldogs are ranked 260th in Pennsylvania).

Friendship Collegiate Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points this season. As for Simon Gratz, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Friendship Collegiate Academy will take on Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Simon Gratz, they will square off against West Philadelphia at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
