Wood Memorial has no trouble against Barr-Reeve

Recap: Wood Memorial Trojans vs. Barr-Reeve Vikings

The Wood Memorial Trojans entered their tilt with the Barr-Reeve Vikings with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Wood Memorial strolled past Barr-Reeve with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 47-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wood Memorial also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Barr-Reeve's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Bledsoe, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds. Ava B Carter was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 rebounds.

Wood Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Barr-Reeve, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Wood Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against Evansville Bosse at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Evansville Bosse will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 315th, while Wood Memorial is ranked 156th). Barr-Reeve will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against North Daviess at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th.
