Basketball Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Union City last Tuesday, Dickinson came back down to earth. The Dickinson Rams fell to the Hudson Catholic Hawks 66-61. The Rams lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 74-47 score last time.

Dickinson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Hudson Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Dickinson will take on Hoboken at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dickinson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Hoboken likes a good challenge. Hudson Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
