Hanover is 8-2 against North Quincy since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hanover Hawks will host the North Quincy Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Hanover will be strutting in after a victory while North Quincy will be coming in after a loss.

Hanover is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Pembroke, posting a 48-8 win. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Titans are ranked 153rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, a victory for North Quincy just wasn't in the cards on Thursday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 56-20 loss at the hands of Scituate. The Raiders were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Despite their defeat, North Quincy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Marques Rodrigues-Smith, who picked up 176 receiving yards and two touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. Rodrigues-Smith really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards. Mike Galligan was another key passer, throwing for 329 yards and three touchdowns.
