Baseball Recap: Cocoa Beach Comes Up Short

Cocoa Beach fell victim to Rockledge and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Rockledge Raiders. The Minutemen just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cocoa Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Janke, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Cocoa Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Rockledge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Coincidentally, Cocoa Beach and Rockledge will both be playing Titusville the next time they take the field. Cocoa Beach will host Titusville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Rockledge will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
