Basketball Recap: Aline-Cleo Takes a Loss

Aline-Cleo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 77-12 loss at the hands of the Taloga Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-5 back in December of 2024.

Aline-Cleo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Taloga, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aline-Cleo will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sharon-Mutual at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Taloga, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Taloga Panthers challenge the Grandfield Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
