It's playoff time, and Hendersonville had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trinity Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Hendersonville, who have now won 13 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Trinity with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reagan Adams (2), Amelia Hodge, and Addison Reid.

Hendersonville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those nine contests. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11-1.

Hendersonville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Wilkes Central on the 15th. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
