After having lost a blowout in their previous game against DeSoto Central, Lewisburg was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oxford Chargers a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Patriots have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Anna Etter was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Mikayla Johnson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Lewisburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oxford only posted an OBP of .077.
Lewisburg's record is now 15-10. As for Oxford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Oxford, they will be playing at home against DeSoto Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
