On Saturday, Kell faced Woodward Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Kell Longhorns fell 77-66 to the Woodward Academy War Eagles. The Longhorns' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Jarvis Hayes Jr., who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 boards for Woodward Academy. With that strong performance, Hayes Jr. is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Zachary Foster, who went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
