Baseball Recap: St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Gets the Win

St. Joseph-by-the-Sea won the last time they faced St. Francis Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Terriers by a score of 7-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Gioacchino Bonsangue was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Petruzzelli, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

St. Joseph-by-the-Sea's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for St. Francis Prep, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-11.

As of now, neither St. Joseph-by-the-Sea nor the Terriers have any future games scheduled.
