Springfield entered their tilt with Taylorville on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tornadoes an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Springfield, who have now won 16 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Taylorville from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Megan Foster led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.
