Griffin Came Up Big in Middlesex's 38-19 Victory

Starting off the list is Middlesex's Jaquan Griffin, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Griffin rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards.

West Point's probably not too fond of Griffin given he always seems to get the better of them. Griffin picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 58 yards the last time he and the Pointers duked it out back in October of 2023.

King William's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to James Stewart

King William's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to James Stewart. Stewart was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns.

King William's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Stewart and King William will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mechanicsville at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Trenton Stallings Puts an End to King William's Losing Streak on Friday

Thanks in part to Trenton Stallings, King William said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Rocktown had no answer to Stallings on Friday as he threw for 25 yards on one of five attempts.

This season, Stallings has averaged 60.1 passing yards per game.

Carter Made His Presence Known in West Point's 38-19 Loss

West Point was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Keleal Carter did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Carter as he rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles.

For the season, Carter has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 60.3 rushing yards per game.

King William's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to K'sean Hill

Thanks in part to K'Sean Hill, King William said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Hill was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

For the season, Hill has averaged 14.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to four.
