Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Rockets vs. Mapletown Maples
Even though the Mapletown Maples scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets still came out on top. Jefferson-Morgan walked away with a 66-58 victory over Mapletown. Winning may never get old, but Jefferson-Morgan sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Huston Guesman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with six steals and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jase Bedilion, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Jefferson-Morgan's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Mapletown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Jefferson-Morgan will be playing in front of their home fans against Monessen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mapletown, they will head out on the road to challenge California at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (California is ranked 718th, while Mapletown is ranked 741st).
