Volleyball Game Preview: St. Mary's Knights vs. Agua Fria Owls

The St. Mary's Knights will challenge the Agua Fria Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Mary's came up short against Thunderbird on Friday, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-12.

Agua Fria not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2024. They put the hurt on Moon Valley with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-11.

St. Mary's better keep an eye on Raul Hernandez. He was instrumental in Agua Fria's win, getting six aces and three digs. That's the most aces Hernandez has posted over his last nine contests. Dang Pham also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Agua Fria is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
