Basketball Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss

Marquette lost against Eureka back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marquette Mustangs received a blow as they fell 58-40 to the Eureka Wildcats. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marquette's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-8. As for Eureka, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marquette will head out to take on Parkway West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eureka, they will take on Clayton at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
