Abingdon extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Cave Spring. They skirted past the Knights 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since April 15th.

The team relied heavily on Aubrey Fullen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Alyssa Lindsay was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Abingdon and bumps their season record up to 22-4. As for Cave Spring, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Abingdon will square off against Staunton River on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 4, the Golden Eagles 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Cave Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
