Basketball Recap: Tucker Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clarkston on Tuesday, Tucker came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 85-74 to the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Golden Lions are ranked ninth).

Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for St. Pius X Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Looking ahead, Tucker won't have much time to rest: their next game is against South Gwinnett at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Southwest DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Lions will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups.
