Santana had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grossmont Foothillers. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Sultans this season.

One reason for the win was Santana's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 25-8.

Despite the loss, Grossmont still got an impressive performance from Ciarrah Coliente, who had nine digs and two aces.

Santana's win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Santana will challenge Coronado at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grossmont, they will take on Valhalla at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
