Volleyball Recap: Toronto's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

The Toronto Red Knights came up short against the Heartland Christian Lions on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The loss put an end to the Red Knights' undefeated start to the season.

Toronto started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.

Jayna Reeves paced Toronto's offense, picking up 14 kills. Reeves got some help from Chloe Fisher and her 17 assists. Gracee Rex controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Toronto fell to 2-1. As for Heartland Christian, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Toronto will host Buckeye Local at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heartland Christian, they will head out to square off against Salem at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
