Baseball Recap: Apollo Ridge Comes Up Short

Greensburg Salem hit Apollo Ridge with a seven-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 11-1 to the Golden Lions. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apollo Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden McCracken, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Apollo Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Greensburg Salem, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
