Basketball Recap: Northwest Classical Academy Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

The Stonehaven School came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Northwest Classical Academy, but Isaac Edwards wouldn't allow it. The Spartans walked away with a 46-36 victory over the Knights on Friday for which the team can thank Edwards, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Edwards is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

The win made it two in a row for Northwest Classical Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for The Stonehaven School, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Classical Academy will host Hearts Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for The Stonehaven School, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Heritage Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
