Softball Recap: Enterprise Find Success

Enterprise took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Hoopa Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Enterprise narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Hoopa Valley 5-3. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 12-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Carly Graham was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Ross, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hoopa Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Enterprise and Hoopa Valley will both be playing CORE Butte the next time they take the field. Enterprise will head out to face CORE Butte at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Hoopa Valley will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
