Walnut Hills had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Turpin on Monday. The Eagles blew past the Spartans 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

Walnut Hills' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Turpin, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Walnut Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Milford on the 15th. As for Turpin, they will head out on the road to face off against West Clermont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
