It was a good run, but Almeta Crawford unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 46-35 to the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 689th, while the Eagles are ranked 230th).

Almeta Crawford's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-15. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
