Basketball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Comes Up Short

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North's tournament run continued when they took on Johnson on Thursday. The Raiders fell 45-41 to the Jaguars. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North still got an impressive performance from Mason Lopez, who posted 19 points. Andrew Ruiz also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Johnson, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North and Johnson will both be playing Lopez the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will head out to face the Lobos at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
