Basketball Recap: Fyffe Comes Up Short

Fyffe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 66-57 to the Sand Rock Wildcats. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 71-59.

Fyffe's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Sand Rock, they moved to 16-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Fyffe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sand Rock, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Sand Rock Wildcats face off against the Cedar Bluff Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sand Rock is facing Cedar Bluff at the right time seeing as Cedar Bluff is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
