Miramonte won the last time they faced College Park and Carson Blair did his part to make sure it happened again. The Matadors put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 38-14 win on Friday with plenty of help from Blair, who threw for 177 yards and four TDs. He has become a key player for Miramonte: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Miramonte didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. James Rogers led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself.

Miramonte's record is now 4-2. As for College Park, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Miramonte will challenge Acalanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dons' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Matadors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for College Park, after each having a week off, they and Alhambra will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
