Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Altoona walked away with it. Everything went their way against the State College Little Lions on Wednesday as they made off with a 5-1 win. Altoona might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit State College with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Frye (2), Sophia O'Dea (2), and Ajaycia Alexander.

Altoona has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-2 record this season. As for State College, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Altoona will face off against McDowell at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. State College does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
