Basketball Recap: Weir Takes a Loss

Weir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dover Crimson Tornadoes, falling 52-27. The contest marked the Red Riders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Weir's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Dover, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Weir and Dover should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Weir (ranked 69th) will meet Beaver Local (ranked 570th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dover will take on Minerva at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 384 places (71 vs. 455).
