Gardendale is a perfect 10-0 against Pinson Valley since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Pinson Valley was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against Boaz, falling 10-2.

Pinson Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Holifield, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Holifield also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Gardendale's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Pinson Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.

Gardendale took their win against Pinson Valley when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0. Will Gardendale repeat their success, or does Pinson Valley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
