Basketball Recap: Barr-Reeve Piles Up the Points Against Medora

Barr-Reeve won the last time they faced Medora and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings blew past the Hornets 68-22. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Barr-Reeve's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaylon Graber, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Graber a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kierson Lengacher, who posted 11 points.

Barr-Reeve was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Medora only posted five.

Medora's loss came despite strong showings from Hudson Johnson and Waylon Burrell. Johnson scored seven points, while Burrell put up nine points.

Barr-Reeve's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Barr-Reeve will face off against Orleans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Medora, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-60 victory against Shawe Memorial on the 2nd.
