Noblesville won the last time they faced Avon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Millers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Orioles.

Gael Esqueda paced Noblesville's offense, picking up ten kills. Esqueda got some help from Sam Wolf and his 19 assists. Esqueda also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Anas Sakkah, racking up two apiece.

Noblesville's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Avon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Noblesville and Avon will both be playing Munster the next time they take the court. The Millers will head out to face the Mustangs at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Orioles will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
