Basketball Recap: Southeast Raleigh's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Southeast Raleigh had lost three games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-1 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They strolled past the Enloe Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 68-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Having lost for the first time this season, Enloe fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

John Brown and Preston Williams certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Brown went 6-for-13 en route to 17 points, while Williams shot 45% from the field to rack up 13 points along with five boards and three steals. Williams is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Grady Jordan was another key player, putting up five points and nine rebounds.

Southeast Raleigh has already played their next game (against Ben L. Smith), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Enloe, they will square off against Fuquay - Varina at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Bengals have averaged an impressive 73 points per game this season.
