Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Ararat Eagles vs. Biddeford Tigers

The Mt. Ararat Eagles will face off against the Biddeford Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Mt. Ararat turned things around against Brunswick on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Dragons out 54-52.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Biddeford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-32 victory over Massabesic. That looming 64-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

The win got Biddeford back to even at 5-5. As for Mt. Ararat, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Mt. Ararat came up short against Biddeford in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 65-57. Can Mt. Ararat avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
