Volleyball Game Preview: Mason Classical Academy Paladins vs. Donahue Catholic Shamrocks

Mason Classical Academy is 8-2 against Donahue Catholic since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Paladins will venture away from home to take on the Shamrocks at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mason Classical Academy lost 3-0 to Marco Island Academy on Thursday. The Paladins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-5, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Donahue Catholic came up short against Southwest Florida Christian on Monday, falling 3-0. The Shamrocks have struggled against the King's recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-10.

Mason Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Donahue Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Mason Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Donahue Catholic in their previous meeting on September 2nd, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Paladins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
