Football Game Recap: Nickerson vs. Pratt

Pratt took the matchup and then some with a 49-14 win over Nickerson on Friday. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Pratt, who can brag about seven blowout wins.

The game started off well for Pratt, whose offense put up 42 first-half points. Meanwhile, Nickerson couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 42-0 heading into the break. Pratt were outperformed in the second half 7-14 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.

Pratt have yet to lose this season, and the victory brought them up to 8-0. This is the second loss in a row for Nickerson and nudges their record down to 2-6.

After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week Pratt will take on Concordia at 7:00 PM. Concordia took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Pratt's good fortune. As for Nickerson, they will go up against Scott. Scott have averaged 44.33 points over the course of their past six games, so Nickerson might be in for a challenge.
