Wando faced Cane Bay in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Cobras a 5-0 shutout. Wando might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Wando's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four matches. As for Cane Bay, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
