Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Elizabeth Seton walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on October 6th.

Elizabeth Seton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-12.

Elizabeth Seton's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for St. Mary's Ryken, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Elizabeth Seton has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against The Academy of the Holy Cross on the 28th. St. Mary's Ryken does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
