A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.

Columbia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 49-25 margin over McComb. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Columbia's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jakira Brown, who posted 18 points, and Sariya Robinson, who scored 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least a third of Columbia's points. Jalaysha Allen was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forest). They secured a 60-54 W over Greene County on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bearcats.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Forest, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Things could have been worse for Columbia, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-38 loss to Forest in their previous matchup back in February of 2021. Can Columbia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
