Soccer Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Piedmont took on Fort Gibson on Saturday. The Piedmont Wildcats fell just short of the Fort Gibson Tigers by a score of 1-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fort Gibson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Piedmont will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Putnam City North at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Fort Gibson, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 15th.
